After using a wired portable charger for many years, I upgraded to a MagSafe one when I bought a phone with MagSafe. I was hesitant, especially because of the price, but itās so much easier to snap this on your phone than to carry around a battery and a cord separately. I think it provides a good amount of power, but for me the main benefit is really the MagSafe. I do notice that it charges better when Iām not using my phone vs using it, but I think thatās normal with chargers. My least favorite thing about it is how heavy it is, and the size. I have an iPhone 12 mini, so I knew when purchasing this charger that it wasnāt an ideal size. It does hang off the bottom edge of my phone a bit, which is slightly annoying but they do warn you about it on the product page. First you should know this charger only charges at 7.5w, 2.5w faster then the apple battery pack. However, it wont ever be as fast as just plugging in your device to a wall charger. I have the iPhone 13 pro, and it fits perfectly with a case on however if you donāt have a case on you notice a bit of overhang. This charger can get my phone from 17% to ~95% but it wont charge as fast if you power demanding apps. The stand is also great, personally I donāt use it as much but its always convenient when I need it.GamingGaming with this battery pack is great and will slowly charge your phone while playing but playing games such as call of duty with high graphics will just drain the battery form pack rather than your phone. But lighter games such as Clash Royale or crossly road where they donāt demand much graphical performance work just great and wonāt stop your phone from charging. I also did notice it gets warm but not so much to where itās a concern of a fire or burning, almost having one of those hand warms you might see during the winter.Overall I have really enjoyed this product as it can help me get through a day with out having to be tied to a wall. I definitely recommend it and could even see myself getting a second one for traveling where outlets arenāt always available. Not to mention being able to charge other devices such as my AirPods from the usb c port at the bottom.
I think it is awesome. I do not like the turn-off and on it does when I'm on my phone. I can literally watch it stop and then start charging repeatedly. It's just warm. My battery life is 99% life span and it happens after like 70% charge capacity or so. It seems like there is firmware or sensors embedded inside that allows it to realize I may refrigerate my hand and then itāll start back charging. But keep in mind that I am absolutely, without any doubt, not moving the actual pack at all and it is actually attached quite snug so I am lost as to why itās behaving in this manner. My only other gripe is that it charges so slow and Iām using the Anker USB-C PD 20 W charger thatās the tiny one.I donāt know if this thing is capable of getting firmware updates like the ...Ā MoreI think it is awesome. To conclude, long in-hand usage hurts hand due to the sharply designed edges. Just an all around bad design and it was clearly rushed to market. I keep it because I paid for it and it still charges. But I won't be quick to buy new uncharted product categories from Anker in the future.
The Anker MagSafe battery pack is convenient to have and simple to ise however its major issue is that it overheats and thus the charging process stops on the iPhone. I often had to switch off the magsafe discharge on the battery while itās attached to the phone then plug in a charging cable. Thatās how I prevent overheating and itās also quicker to charge this way (using cable). It takes about 3 hours to charge the iPhone 14 Pro Max via MagSafe option but it never let it complete due to overheating. The product is not optimised for Apple devices. I like the fact that the stand is stable for both portrait and landscape modes. Overall itās a cool and convenient product despite the overheating.
The iPhone 13 mini does not have as big a battery as its bigger siblings, but it can last the entire day of casual use. But sometimes there are just some situations where you are bored and will watch an entire season of Netflix while on a long trip. That's where this Anker magsafe battery charger comes into play. The sire of this portable battery charger is so perfect for the iPhone mini. It doesn't give too much bulk on the phone that you can put the phone in your pocket while charging with this powerbank. The flexible kickstand at the back is so useful watching videos, or doing facetime. The magnet on this powerbank is also strong enough to hold the biggest iPhone (I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max as my secondary phone currently) without any worries of the phone ...Ā MoreThe iPhone 13 mini does not have as big a battery as its bigger siblings, but it can last the entire day of casual use. The build quality of this powerbank feels very premium, the texture feels luxurious. This product is perfect for the iPhone minis but also works great on bigger iPhones if needed. Highly recommendable.
This is the perfect iPhone 12 Pro companion (other iPhone's are available). The combination of pocket power and built in stand is really useful. Long train journeys... no problem. Prop up your iPhone on the table and watch the latest episode of Celeb's Go Dating without hand cramp or worry that you'll have no charge left to call the Uber at the other end.On a more serious note, yes it add's a little bulk onto the back of an iPhone, but it's lightweight and thinner than almost all other varieties making it easy to slip in a suit pocket or handbag and take anywhere. Not to mention available at a far more reasonable price than another well known brand.Testing the Anker 622 charge capabilities, it happily provided a full charge for an iPhone 12 pro (varies for other ...Ā MoreThis is the perfect iPhone 12 Pro companion (other iPhone's are available). As a MagSafe charger and stand, the trickle charge while using keeps the device topped up on the go. The convenience of being able to charge the Anker 622 and iPhone as one is excellent, and the choice of colours is an added bonus to swing your decision.Anyone reading this, I highly recommend this power bank... great value for money, good charge range, nice added bonus of stand and colours.
It appears to have a minimum of four iPhone lives and thatās why I love anker products as they are so well-made that I have had them for years for their charging blocks and batteries and cables and what not from Anker.I find it to be a very heavy little battery that holds a charge for almost a week or more depending on usage it can also charge any other phone or appliance that you have via the port on the bottom of the USB-C receiver female end to male end.I have used battery charging blocks for about seven years and I keep one in my handbag along side my cigarettes and pistol , just a joke I donāt smoke and I donāt shoot much anymore at all, really I donāt! Iāll just preface this by saying Iām a big Anker fan. I have many of their cables and AC adapter chargers around the house. When I found out Anker released a MagSafe portable charger (in blue!!!), I needed to give it a try.The portability factor is great, as the charger is fairly thin and the magnets are very strong, never ran into a situation where the charger fell off my iPhone. For the stand feature, I havenāt used it much, but when I have itās worked fine. One thing I have to mention is the heat while charging. My iPhone 13 Pro Max gets pretty warm when Iām charging via MagSafe (though I donāt have a problem with this, wireless charging will usually warm up your phone more than wired). If Iām doing anything intensive though (like gaming), it gets extremely hot ...Ā MoreIāll just preface this by saying Iām a big Anker fan. Though, thatās understandable, as itās not really designed for this. This hasnāt stopped me from using the charger often though, as this product is geared more towards charging on the go, and itās served me very well when Iāve needed some extra charge when out or at work.Would definitely recommend this charger for anyone with a MagSafe iPhone!
