I bought this dual USB-C 40W power adapter because of it’s compactness and ability to allow a charging station for two devices. The adapter plugs into the outlet and it’s compactness does not block the other receptacle of the outlet. The 40W power rating allows fast charging for two iPhones, or one iPhone and an iPad. The iPhone uses a USB-C to Lightning charging cable. When connected to a 20W power adapter the iPhone can charge from 0 to 50 percent in half an hour. This Anker power adapter allows two iPhones to accomplish that at one charging station in a compact form. It would be nicer at a little lower price point, but still a good buy. Overall, excellent!

So I got a new samsung fold this year and guess what? They don't provide boxes anymore. I still had my old rapid charging box though so no big deal. But then I got a new ipad as well. They now have usb-c chargers. So instead of carrying around two blocks I got this. This thing charges SUPER fast. I use the original cords that came with the devices. It also charges my power bank ridiculously fast. It feels sturdy too. I have dropped it a couple of times and it has held up. I travel with it every weekend to work. Honestly, its a great item that you didn't even know you wanted until you had. Highly recommend.
Awesome charger block/brick. Bought for my wife and she absolutely loves it. It charges very fast and gets her phone and/or tablet battery back up to full capacity in no time (compared to all the other charging bricks we have used).Only down side is that we of course had to buy another charging cable for her because this charging brick only accepts USB-C type inputs, and all of her cables were USB-A type inputs. So that meant buying new charging cables, which was it too bad it needed to be done anyway but that just meant that new cables were needed before being able to use this charging brick/block. Love the product! Looks beautiful and has two ports at 40W, it’s absolutely incredible. I love the finish and can’t stop staring at it. Charges superbly well. Its now my go-to charger. It’s a little larger than original nano and about a 1/4 longer or 1.75in long, 1.25in wide, and 1.25in tall for those who don’t own the original nano. Only thing is that finish attracts fingerprints and could potentially scratch? I carry it around in a microfiber electronic pouch with all my other belongings anyways but I don’t know If i’d trust it outside of that or with any other objects that could scuff or scratch. Don’t want to find out either. Secondly I wish the prongs folded like the 45 W Nano II I own because it cuts down a ton of space and makes it’s super travel friendly. ... MoreLove the product! It's just a great device. I can't find a better one. The design is great, and the mirror surface of the front is incomparable. The adapter is compact considering its power. I like the non-foldable plug. I need to buy another one of these. It doesn't hurt much in the household.
I recently purchased a new Apple Watch series 7. Include with the watch the charge cable but no power brick. That charge cable is a USB-C. What I didn’t own was a USB-C power brick I could dedicate to the watch. I purchased this one because of the duel output, knowing that when I upgrade my cell phone it will include a USB-C cable as well.Anker makes great products and every time I’ve had to work with her customer support, they’ve been fantastic. The watch battery isn’t very large and this charges it in a flash. Well built from a great company. Would definitely recommend.

I had expected to leave my watch charger and phone charging cables plugged in at all times, ready for use. When two cables are plugged in, even if only one is being used to charge, the output drops to 20w on both ports. If only one cable is plugged in, the output is the stated 40w. I cannot super fast charge my phone if my watch cable is plugged in, even if I am not charging my watch.Anker, I would not have expected that the wattage drops to 20w just because two cables are plugged in. Bought an A2628 in early 2021; for some reason that one balks charging earbuds; often had to unplug and replug-in to get it to charge after too many days on overnight and still low-batt...This one is 1/3 the size, has the same paired smart ports, immediately recognises my earbuds and charges at the same 40W single/20W dual rate... plus is beefy enough to charge a tablet if ever needed.Only complaint is an acrid smell immediately on first charge cycle, so unplugged to make sure I didn't buy a house fire... but all's clear now and whatever produced the odor prolly cooked off...Will update if the rating has to change in long-term use...
