Epic is gigantic, a big, big love for me! One of my signature scent for over a decade, and that should says everything! The spices are nearly devoid of sweetness although there is the most fleeting of citrus and berry notes in the first few seconds that keep the top notes from being impossibly dry. Very well blended, so somehow what could have been a complete mess instead, achieves coherence and beauty! The incense is among the first notes to come up and it adds a dark smoky accord, then the pink pepper, cardamom, cumin and all the other spicy notes that closely follows the incense are not completely distinguishable among them but they create a warm, aromatic and welcoming spicy accord. Then comes a few moments of magic as the heart notes arrive with a minty, green geranium showing up out of nowhere to provide a cool breeze before the myrrh appears to hint at the base and it's oud/incense notes. The patchouli is barely noticeable in the dry down, and are some animalic leather nuances, accented by pronounced, somewhat skanky natural oud and beautiful smokey incense. The leather adds a dry, clean-leather accord; finally, the musk and castoreum act like a boosting note, without making the fragrance pungent or too animalic! This is a very complex yet finely directed orchestra. If you love complexity and understand how to judiciously apply a powerhouse fragrance and to choose appropriate times to wear challenging scents, then Epic Man is as good as it gets! 5-star service all round

Amouage Epic is a fantastic scent. A spicy, woody, leathery vibe with nuclear longevity and a reasonably strong silage (on my skin). 5-star scent. It has to be said Libertine's service is out of this world. Let's be honest, Australia has a mediocre approach where customer service is concerned. Libertine are the benchmark as far as I'm concerned. Fast service, great comms, quick delivery and amazing samples along with the Amouage. I'm a repeat customer from here. Thanks, Libertine. An Epic Journey

I gave this perfume to my youngest son last Christmas and he loves it. It is definitely an Amouage scent with the woods used but the quality is superb. I found myself following where he had just sprayed trying to inhale as much of the fragrance as possible. His friend that he lives with has been known to "borrow" it frequently so I guess another bottle will need to be purchased shortly. As this is an intense scent I wouldn't purchase it for anyone under the age of 25.

Anything but linear!

Epic man opens with a fresh burst and continues to evolve over 6-8 hours of solid wear. Have garnered a handful of compliments after just a few wears and thoroughly happy with this purchase. Comes beautifully packaged in a quality case and includes a plinth on which to display the stunning bottle with pride!

Amouage is luxury una bottle.This scent is amazing The male fragrance Epic Man is an oriental woody one, offering you pink pepper, cardamom, saffron and nutmeg at the top. The heart pulses with essences of geranium and myrrh, while the base consists of precious Aoud, patchouli, leather and incense.

My favorite Amouage

When it comes to Amoauge I would say that Epic Man is the most weareable fragrance after Reflection Man. If you’re into fragrances you already know that Amouage is one of the best fragrance houses on the planet, they use the best ingredients and the quality of juice is second to none. I know they are not cheap, but it is worth every cent. I’m not going to go into how this smells, there are plenty of reviews online that you can go and check out. I personally believe that Epic Man is a blind-buy worthy fragrance if you are over 25 and want to smell like a man who wants to be taken seriously. This is not a sweet fragrance and it’s not for boys.

My wife absolutely loves it

I prefer masculine scents. My daily is Aramis, evening JHL, often Tuscany Per Uomo. This is intoxicating. Strong. And boy does it last. You only need one spray, right on the jugular. Blot the opposite wrist on it. 9-12 hours easy. You'll catch the lingering oud long after until you take a shower. Don't over apply. Even at the fantastic price I got this one at. One note: careful opening the box, don't do it while standing. Do it at a desk. Heavy bottle, weird box.

Sublime

This was my first ever purchase from here. Epic Man is dense and sophisticated scent for winter. Longevity, projection and sillage is just amazing. I got a lot of samples from Libertine too. The beer presentation ever by am online store. I’m writing this review almost one year after my purchase but I can never forget the experience of receiving it.
