I bought this shampoo believing it would prevent hair loss but intact made my hair loose even more! Sheds my har in the shower bundles and after styling. Then I cut my hair short shoulder length and after 4 months still my hair sheds in the shower and after air drying my hair my hair still does not have any affect just causes my hair to dry. That's all. I don't have any medical conditions just normal person . It's very sad that my hair still shed even while using the shampoo sheds even more than using ordinary shampoo I would not recommend this shampoo I'm brunette from middle East ,,, I used to have beautiful luscious so much hair and now I don't this shampoo does not have any affect

Love this product! It’s really helping my other half’s hair! Can see it thickening in areas that needed to be thickened.

I bought this shampoo a couple of weeks ago because I am suffering from Alopecia Areata and I had lost alot of hair and developed random bald patches with some sporadic hair growth. I was looking for something that would be gentle on my scalp but give results and this product absolutely delivers. Even though it's only been two weeks, I have noticed the hair is growing quicker and is thicker and in some areas the bald spots are nearly all covered up which for me is amazing. I am definitely going to continue using and get the bigger bottle next time.

After the menopause my usually thick hair has become thin especially the front hairline. I have tried various shampoos which havent made any difference, but after 1 month using Alpecin my hair is thicker with regrowth around the front.I usually get my short hair trimmed every month but after 2 1/2 weeks it was ready for its usual cut! Some people comment hair needs extra conditioning but I havent found this. Will definately buy again.
Recently purchased this and so far so good. It does have quite a masculine smell however it is refreshing. After 2 minutes of the product being on the hair you can definitely feel a difference in the grip and almost a tingle sensation of the caffeine absorbing into the roots. I have coloured hair and it hasn't affected this in any way.
Feel a nice tingle, I haven't noticed much of a difference yet but only been using it a few weeks. I'm hoping this will thicken my hair. Fingers crossed
Although too early to notice a difference in hair loss, my thinning fine hair definitely feels like it has more body, or grip. It is also good as I have greasy roots with dry highlighted ends, and this works well all over. I do use a conditioner on the ends, and I do leave this in for a minimum of 2 minutes as recommended. Fingers crossed it will help the hair loss soon.
Makes hair full and energizes the scalp. Very good feeling. Great product. Will buy again.
6 months ago I had a perm that had gone majorly wrong. I've had to have 6 Inches cut off my hair because the damage was that bad! So I've been desperate to have my hair grow back. I've been looking at shampoos to help with re growth and wasn't sure wether to try this one or not because I've read reviews which say this dries your hair out and if you have dry/damaged hair then to not use it.. I thought I'd give it ago anyway....my hair feels softer than ever!!! I still need to wait to see if it works for growth but my hair feels amazing .after this use I do use bed head damage level 3 conditioner but only on the ends of my hair. My hair hasn't felt this soft and shiny since before I had my perm done. I realised from an early age that I had a genetic receding hairline. I was scared that I was going to lose my hair prematurely so started using Alcepin Shampoo. I've been using it for a year now and it's been great. Areas that were of a lighter shade to my thick brown hair have thickened and now feel stronger. I still shed hair but that's normal and it's only single figures a day. Anyone who is worried about a thinning hairline should definitely give this a try. The only negative about the product is that it sometimes leaves hair dry, I normal use head and shoulders 2in1 to help this. I also tried the liquid as well, felt that helped as well, you could really feel the tingling on the scalp. Hope it works for anyone who reads this!
