I love everything about these headphones from the sound, to the comfort, and all the features it has. It is obvious that these headphones were designed by gamers by the way you can regulate the voice over the game volume, a retractable microphone, and its own volume control. The battery life makes them ready for the long haul, and the Blue Tooth pairs first time - every time without a hitch. I haven't had a chance to find the way to turn off the lights on the Alien heads, but they don't seem to use much juice from the battery and I have worn them comfortably for hours on end without issue. There is nothing not to love about these headphones.

These new headsets are very comfortable. The USB dongle for wireless connectivity is a too long, however. Unlike the slimmer mouse USB dongles, you can't really leave this one plugged into your laptop if you want to pack it away, it sticks out too much and likely will get caught and do damage to the USB port. The overall quality of the headset is top notch. Very comfortable even if worn for hours. There is no active noise cancelling on the speakers themselves, but the cushion/cup does block out a very good amount of ambient sounds. The microphone does have noise cancellation, however, I don't know how well it actually is. So far, no complaints from anyone on the other end and the sound is great. I purchased the old gen Alienware headset and it was one of the best audio quality headsets I’ve ever had. So, I upgraded to this and it was literally the worst Audio quality I’ve had in a headset. To top it off, you have to purchase a subscription to have customizable settings….complete and utter waste of money. Not to mention setup was a such a headache. Nothing about this headset screamed quality. Returned and will not purchase Alienware again ( I’ve been using Alienware products, pc etc for years) It’s just not IT anymore.

I love everything about these headphones from the sound, to the comfort, and all the features it has. I have never really used headphones before because I don't play online multiplayer games. I went for the headphones because of the sale and I didn't want to buy some new speakers to replace my older ones which malfunction often. So far I really like this headset. It's easy to quickly control the volume and playing games like Skyrim or just binging Youtube I forget that I even have them on. I have not tested out the mic yet but may re-review once I get back into a language learning program that requires it. I have used smaller headsets in the past but they were the small ones that distracted me because I was always aware that they were on my head while trying out language learning programs. I need to test the mic.

Then I paired them with my computer via bluetooth and messed around on the Alienware app and found that I needed to download the Dolby Audio app to get a better sound control. I find having to download so many apps frustrating and annoying, to be honest. Why can I just hook the headphones up and have them work the way that I want right then without having to download this app for lighting, this app for sound, etc? Anyways, that's another matter After downloading the Dolby app and messing with the settings, I found that the sound quality was a bit better, but not perfect. I find they don't get as loud as I would prefer and the audio doesn't sound as detailed and rich as I'd like. With that being said, I find that these are perfectly decent to game with. I play Guild Wars 2 and Elder Scrolls Online and the sound is good with this headset. I tested the microphone using an recording app on my computer & it is just okay. It's not the best mic by any means, but I have heard worse.My overall opinion is that this headset isn't something I would listen to music or watch movies with, but it can handle gaming and general audio listening just fine.
My old headset was getting old(alienware) so I wanted to get a new one after 4 years! I wanted to get another Alienware one so I found this one which is wireless. The second I connected to my computer i was amazed! The fact I can walk around my house and still talk to my friends on discord is such a perk, scratch that the fact that I don’t have to use a cable is amazing! Battery has been great too I think I’ve charged it once every 2 weeks. For the price, the quality, the ease of mind and comfortably this is such a steal! Alienware for the win on this one.
The speakers sound incredible. The Dolby Access feature is cool too. I play video games and listen to music, plus occasionally record videos or talk with friends. The mic quality is excellent as well. I don't care for Bluetooth, so I bought the dual mode. Battery life is good. We'll see how long the battery lasts. My old Corsair wireless headset battery would die right after warranty would expire. Hopefully the batteries are easier to replace on these. Time will tell, but for now, 5 stars.

It seems to hold its charge for quite a while, and I haven't had to recharge it (which is another usb cable that comes in the box) since I've been using it (for roughly ~12-20 hours). The mute button is very small and hard to feel for while wearing it on your head, I had to remove the headset everytime so I could find the button and mute.In terms of comfort to wear, the pad openings are quite big and don't squish my ears at all. There's a second band that rests on your head and keeps the heavier/sturdy band that connects the 2 ear pieces off your head. That feature definitely helps to keep the heavy weight of it off your head for long gaming sessions. Adjusting the length of the band is also quite simple.

Rhe sound was so They were built for a computer and they work so perfectly with my gaming monitor its an absolute bonus to be able to play them on the Xbox as well using the wire jack. I can't seem to figure out how to use the mic with the Xbox or the volume toggle it just refuses to work with the Xbox when it comes to these two things but everything else is fine and the volume can be adjusted easily through the settings on xbox as far as my pc these are the best gaming headsets I have used they don't lag while gaming with other people online either and every feature works great. My favorite feature about these is the alien on the sides that lights up when they are turned on I think that's so cool.
