One of my new favorite body soaps because it is safe for those with sensitive skin. I have eczema and it is hard to find body washes that doesn't irritate my skin. This has natural essential oils and extracts and no artifical fragrances. The soap doesn't break into little pieces when you are near the end either, since it is made out of high quality ingredients. I know the soap is huge. I just cut it in smaller sizes which lasts me a long way. I love this soap!

I’m a big fan of bar soaps. [brand:aesop] does it right. This bar is huge and lasts a while! At the store they recommend heating up a knife and cutting it in half or smaller squares because it really is bigger than your hand. The scent is just perfect and so natural. The formula is neither drying, nor very hydrating. It looks fancy in the shower or you can use it for hand soap. I need to stock back up on this!

Aesop soap

Lovely, lovely soap. Smells gorgeous, very moreish, a huge bar which I cut into 3 pieces. Feels lovely on the skin. Lasts really well. Would buy it again.

Amazing

Love this soap, smells amazing and keeps my skin moisturised. Expensive but it lasts a long time. It's quite large so I normally cut it in half so it's a more manageable size.

Fresh

I’ve been purchasing this for my husband for many years now - he is very fussy, so the fact that this is a repeat purchase speaks volumes! The slab is generous in size, and lasts a good while. The scent is fresh and ‘green’ but not at all overpowering. Some soaps can leave skin irritated, dry and tight, but that is certainly not the case for this Aesop slab - it leaves skin feeling super clean and soft. Would recommend for both male and female!

Nice size, average fragrance

A nice gift and absolutely huge but the fragrance is a bit disappointing in the end. Quality wise it’s no better than any other regular soap I’ve tried. Wish it smelled like the hand wash.

Smells amazing

Really lovely, high quality soap that smells great. A great, less waste alternative to plastic shower gels. This is a really huge soap bar to boot, I've had to cut it in half to fit in my soap saver!

Smells great! Not moisturizing.

Soap has a clean sent. Will probably last me about 2 months, given how big it is, but it has no moisturizing properties. It dries you out. Nothing too special for the price.

Specific scent but does intended job

I had read on other sites that people weren't keen on the fragrance so I was a little reluctant to buy such a big bar without smelling it first however, I am familiar with the botanical nature of Aesop smells and I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. It is huge and I have cut it up into 3 smaller pieces but this is a plus for me, means I don't have to buy body wash for longer and also makes it very cost-effective. The smell is botanical and earthy, not at all floral but not musky either. Personally I like it, it isn't overpowering and I think it is a rather clean smell, but I wouldn't say it's a universal scent. It lathers up nicely, cleans well and so far seems to last a long while, I think it's a great item for switching out plastic body ... MoreI really like this slab! Stinks

In terms of beauty and bath products, I'm convinced that reviews are fake. Everytime I buy a scented product from here, the reviews are amazing but the actual product is terrible. This soap stinks. Theres really nothing else to say but it stinks. Then only accuracy is that the bar is so large you'll have to cut it into pieces to use it. I don't recommend.
