These shoes are so cute I wanted a pair in my size to match my daughter! Unfortunately, the shoes were the right size but they won't stay on my daughters feet. She walks and they just slip up and down because they aren't secure enough...super poor design. I had to return.

I am a huge fan of Sambas, having owned a half-dozen pairs in my life. I am trying to replace all of the black in my wardrobe with navy, and could not find Sambas in navy in my size. I decided to buy these Big Kid Gazelle’s in Collegiate Navy/White. I’m not thrilled with the tongue, which is white as opposed to collegiate navy and made of a thin material that frequently falls down towards my toes as I walk. I still like the color and the style of the shoes very much and plan to wear them daily.

Pink Gazelle — love them but as a few other reviews mention, they do indeed run large. In Adidas, I normally wear Big Kids size 7. Ordered Big Kids 6.5 on advice from the reviews, but they’re too big. I don’t like shoes when they’re snug fitting, but my feet were swimming in size 6.5. Luckily they still have pink Gazelles in Big Kids size 6.0 so am exchanging for the smaller size. otherwise, really happy with the style and profile of Gazelle. The pink shoe with beige color gum outside sole is a nice change from the traditional white outside sole. Highly recommend.

I’m now avoiding buying this leather tongue, it has to be positioned right or squeaks loudly while walking, like a cheap shoe. Positioned correctly, it still squeaks, but less. Roomy on a narrow-medium width, we tried 5 and 5.5, keeping the larger for next year, but we tie it taut to keep a narrower fit. Laces are flat and untreated which are awesome. The color and style are absolutely vibrant and gorgeous!

I would definitely try on in-store and make sure you try on a boys shoe if you are looking to go the same route i did. Because they are suede, they haven’t been holding up great and are already showing signs of wear and tear even though it’s only been about 2 weeks. I would strongly recommend water proofing them and they are a bit squeaky, however I did know that going into the purchase. I did not however expect just how squeaky these things are. The normal womens sizing were out of stock in my size, so I ordered the Big Kids sizing! Had to exchange for a smaller size because the shoes are low on the ankle, so my foot slipped out compared to the high-top shoes that I am used to. The return was easy and quick! Very comfortable shoe that goes with all of my outfits.
These are very cute just like the picture. I am a size 7 in youth and they were Bigger than I expected! Therefore, they look a little big and smush around the toe area when you walk. Nevertheless, they are by far the lightest and most comfortable shoes I’ve worn in a while! I went ahead and ordered the original color because of that!
So the pic below on the left is what I ordered/ the pic on the right is what I received. What am I missing here? They are ugly and not the same at all! They also appear previously worn n fuzzy? Super disappointed. Will be returning. Not the quality I expect from Nordstrom.
Shoe runs very big. Def recommend going down at least one size. Max 1.5 sizes down. Surprisingly comfortable! The insole is squishy and comfy for all day wear. Con- the leather tongue is definitely an irritant. The constant friction against the shin causes chafing.
Shoes are great, customer service was not. I missed the delivery on Black Friday and they didn’t leave the shoes at my door. I had to call and rearrange my schedule to be there for the next delivery. I was told if I wasn’t there to receive them the next time ( on Monday when I will be at work) then I would have to call back and submit a report for a lost package to start the refund process. I was told once in the shippers hands they can’t do anything. I wasn’t able to change the delivery date/time or request to pick up at a fedex store, due to the shipping method they use. I ship plenty for work and told them while the receiver can’t make these changes the shipper can. I had no luck with either of the Hibbet reps I talked to or the Fedex rep.
