Acqua Di Parma Signatures of The Sun Vaniglia Eau De Parfum Spray 180ml

I’ve now tested this perfume several times, and it has left me disappointed due to it lasting only 3-4 hours. The opening scent is very rose forward, which isn’t my favorite, but some will enjoy. The rose quickly fades to the background after 30 to 45 minutes and the more amber scent is left. I really enjoyed that more spicy, woodsy scent. I found myself sniffing it throughout the day, noting the complexity and its changes. All though I ended up liking the scent, there is no staying power at all. To get through a full morning to night, you would have to reapply a few times, which is not reasonable especially for this price level of perfume.

Zafferano is a pretty light fragrance from. The start. I 100% say this is a unisex fragrance. Right after the first spray there is a subtle lemony, citrus note that come out. Really nice. Once it sits for a few seconds to a minute, you can really get that saffron and floral notes from its. Pretty much the whole time I could get florals which is decently blended well in and strong and pungent. Then on the dry down there is still the floral, with nice woody, vanilla/tonka note which is really subtle and pleasant. To me lasted about 5 hours on my skin.

It opens up with a combination of bergamot and mandarin, which is something you can find in most of the Acqua di Parma fragrances. The freshness lasts about 1 hour and slowly turns into a spicy and floral scent. The orange blossom, jasmine, and rose are the main players in the middle note. Zafferano does not lean towards feminine as saffron gives a masculine touch to the fragrance. Zafferano has a moderate projection within an arm's length. It lasts about 6 hours and turns into a subtle scent. Would recommend if you like a saffron prominent scent.

This sparkling invigoration is hard to beat and brings an energy to the day that is simply infectious. As the name suggests, we Zafferano dominated by saffron, which gives it a warm, almost sensual depth. It is as if the sun is trapped in a bottle that opens with every breath. The evolution of this fragrance is a true journey of discovery. It starts with an explosion of freshness and then evolves into a soft, cool and almost soothing presence on my skin. It accompanies me during the day for a good 4 to 5 hours and unfolds particularly well on warm days.

Classy, mature fragrance. To mean this leans feminine due to the florals. The opening is strong but the dry down is great. In the dry down the projection isn’t as strong as the opening but in my opinion that’s better. Ingredients used seem to be natural and not synthetic. If you are a young man I’d say this fragrance probably won’t suit you. This isn’t your normal crowd pleasing scent from the department store, if you’re looking for something unique give it a try. 35+ would be my recommendation.

So when I got this as a rather generous sample for another Aqua di Parma purchase, I was less than enthused. However this scent has won me over.For me this is a cold weather scent as I find it very heady. It blends well with other perfumes and has been used it to add some layered sweetness to other fragrances. Of all my fragrances my tweens’ though this isn’t your middle school vanilla. This one’s all grown up, rich, well travelled and sophisticated. There’s nothing simple, cloying or cheap about it though it is very truly vanilla.The additional notes make this surprisingly unisex, I could see both men and women pulling this off.
