Aqua Di Gio Absolu is a fresh and aquatic fragrance with a blend of bergamot, marine, and woody notes. It's a versatile scent that can be worn on any occasion. The longevity is good, but it's not overpowering. Overall, it's a pleasant fragrance that is worth trying, especially for those who enjoy aquatic scents. Its stands out the most out of the entire Armani Aqua line and is very underrated.

Acqua Di Gió Absolu Instinct by @giorgioarmani is probably the least loved flanker by most people I've talked to. I'll admit, at first I wasn't super in love with it either, but with each wearing I began to love it more and more. Compared to Absolu, this is much darker, sweeter, spicier, and woodier. But somehow there is still this freshness about it. I am happy I kept this and gave it a chance because I almost sold this one right after I bought it. I really enjoy the whole ADG line and will continue to collect them as they release even though this line is really torn apart by niche snobs. I like what I like!

This is probably the most underrated flanker. I prefer this to Profondo, but it not in league with Profumo. It's fresh. It's citrusy. It's fruity. It's woody. In the air it smells awesome. Projection and longevity are ok, as with all the fragrances in the line. Smell this in skin, not in paper. It smells vastly better on skin and air. Similar to Invictus? No. People see marine and sweet accords and instantly think of Invictus. But if you want to think of this in terms of Invictus, think of a more complex and fruity version of it, with a bit less sweetness Performance is great for a fresh fragrance. Projects great for first couple of hours and lingers on skin or clothes for entire day. Huge compliment getter.

In the aqua di gio line this to me is the second best of all of them. I have been wearing the original since 2002 and it has been one of my favorites of all time and forever will have a place in my collection. The original is shadow of itself and isn’t what it used to to be unfortunately…it still still has the great smell to it but it’s performance is terrible and I only use it for a around the house the scent. This absolu on the other hand has average or above performance and the sillage is way better and has garnered me many compliments over the past 3 years. I have worn this year round with no problem and has the original scent dna plus patchouli. I will probably keep this one in my collection forever. I picked this for my husband. We were shopping cologne together and I just kept coming back to this one. Don't be scared off by the "patchouli" description. I very much dislike and avoid the smell of patchouli, but I wouldn't have known it was in this cologne. It is very warm and woodsy, but with a clean undertone. It smells even better warmed up on his skin. Like a physical representation of a log cabin and cozy sweater during the fall. But it also works great in the summer. (Hard to describe?) I will never NOT buy this for my man!
I received my sample of Acqua Di Gio Absolu, from BzzAgent, and was so excited to finally get it. I had been waiting impatiently because I love every single scent from Giorgio Armani. I left my mailbox and rushed home to spray my husband (literally doused him) totally forgetting that all you need is one spray of this cologne normally. That fragrance had me following him around, for the rest of the evening, sniffing him every time he walked past me. Aside from him staring at me strange for sniffing him constantly, he asked me what it was called. I told him and also told him that I was ordering a bottle for him that same evening because the smell is almost intoxicating. I told him and also told him that I was ordering a bottle for him that same evening because the smell is almost intoxicating. You know, the type when you walk down the street and someone smells so good that u want to chase them down to ask what they’re wearing for cologne? Just like that! Anyway, fast forward to that evening when I was about to order him a bottle and he tells me that he had already ordered himself a bottle. Now normally he is VERY particular and only wears maybe 3 different scents. I was impressed! Turns out he loves this one just as much as I do! The scent is a mix between a warm wood smell, almost like the smell of fresh cut wood or a woodworking class but so much better and it has a soft hint of patchouli. The patchouli is not overpowering, like a lot of men’s fragrances. It is the perfect amount. I am now obsessed with this cologne and he can be expecting it for every holiday! I have a feeling he will be just as overjoyed as I will be. When I said “chase worthy”, I meant it. I would follow anyone wearing this cologne just to let them know how amazing they smell :) price wise, at almost $100, I will say it is very much worth it! One spray is enough to last you the entire day. His shirt still smelled very much like this cologne the next evening when I went to put his clothes in the wash machine. The 4.2oz bottle will probably last him 6 months, if I don’t end up stealing it and spraying my car vents :)
A coworker wears this, and although the scent is difficult to describe, it’s a really pleasing smell with floral and citrus hints, and the smell lasts all day (and, to a lesser degree, beyond) but isn’t too overpowering. I had considered purchasing this for a lower price from a diffuser platform, but there are so many counterfeit listings for this EDP that it just wasn’t worth a few dollops’ difference; and I always know what I’m getting when I order through Macy’s. Ordering online was really easy with their different payment options, it shipped and arrived quickly, and it came well-packaged and undamaged—everything any shopper could hope for!
50% off was a nice deal for me. Had arrived at Macy's to buy Dolce Gabbana discount but was told by lady that no more was in stock. She also let me smell the sample Dolce Gabbana which I didn't like anyway (Thumb down) she let me smell this Armani absolu I immediately told her let's checks out $ great scent which isn't overpowering. My lady receives headaches from strong scents & she immediately give this Absolu a smile! & a like, you will not go wrong with this one
Great perfume. Really happy with my purchase
So I have been using the regular version of Aqua Di Gio for awhile now. If you've used it you know a couple of sprays and you get a light, fresh, clean, citrusee smell. Not too strong. This stuff, WOW! is the word I'd use. A couple of sprays, and I'm not kidding, I had to change my shirt it was so overpowering. If you do one spray overhead and kinda walk through it, its not that potent. But it has this funky smell to it, I can't put my finger on it, but its like bug spray as my wife put it. Then it hit me, the odor I smell is deet, the mosquito killer. I also use Armani Code too, which I would recommend over this stuff. Maybe it's me, maybe the bottle I got is bad, but I won't buy this again. But a small tester before going all in on it. However, since I did get a ...
