Aarke Carbonator 3 Copper
Compact minimalism Making sparkling water at home has never been so elegant. The Aarke Carbonator 3 was designed from the inside out to be the slimmest and most compact sparkling water maker. Quality conscious design Forget the plastic sparklers of the past - when it comes to performance, environmental sustainability and durability, it can't be beat. The Carbonator 3 is constructed with a seamless stainless steel body that fulfills both form and function as the backbone of the machine. New precision stainless steel nozzle The most noticeable new feature of the Carbonator 3 is the newly designed precision nozzle, which is CNC machined from a single piece of stainless steel. The result is a beautifully polished nozzle that produces a smooth, controlled spray. Updated stainless steel dampening controlled lever and end cap. The movement of the lever is newly regulated by a rotational damper that allows for a more controlled pressure release in the bottle. The damper also allows for a higher fill line on the cylinder without causing performance issues. The end cap of the lever is now made of stainless steel with an eye-catching spinning finish. New bottle design The iconic Aarke bottle is now slimmer than ever with an all new refined shape. The bottom piece of the bottle has also been redesigned and features a screw-in mechanism for increased durability. The ability to separate the metal and plastic components also makes it possible to recycle the bottle at the end of its life.

Having upgraded from an all plastic sodastream carbonator, this is a welcome improvement. Solid construction and I really appreciate the drip tray which catches any water that is expelled during carbonation. Our previous unit just made a puddle on the counter. Pleased that our existing water bottles were compatible.

So I bought this as a replacement to my expensive sodastream which after 3 years started to leak the gas that was inside. I Came across the Aarke as I was looking for something that wasn't plastic and would last. Apart from being stunning and getting compliments from everyone that sees it, it's just amazing. Works as it's supposed to every time. I held back a 5th star as I have to screw in which other systems have moved past. That being said, it's not a big deal. I'm so pleased with this device and don't care that it doesn't have light up LEDs or a snap in bottle instead of the screw in.

Expensive. But we love it. We had a 1st gen sodastr ... for years, 12 total. It served us well but it was loud. When we saw this in Copper, we fell hard and saved our money. The bottles we have and the CO2 cannisters from the other brand are 100% compatible! So we only invested in this machine, we didnt have to rebuy the rest. The operation is so much smoother and quieter so our neighbors probably appreciate that. And its pretty. Its appeasing to see out on the countertop. Mo regrets here.

I love this! I was looking something to accentuate my newly renovated kitchen and this fits the bill. It is slightly pricey but I can't imagine this ever breaking down so I can have indefinite supply of bubbles. I also like the fact that I can choose the level of carbonation with the manual pull!
I've had several of the cheaper SS brand of soda makers and the aarke is so much better! Yes, it's more expensive but as they say you get what you pay for. I love the sleek design, the quality of construction, and it makes wonderful carbonated beverages. I give it two long pulls of the handle and get wonderfully bubbly water that stays bubbly until I finish off the liter. Highly recommended!
I am on the fourth of these carbonators. There is an inherent fault in the models I bought. The O-ring or the inner workings can't seal the air from the CO2 bottles, therefore wasting the CO2 and making a huge mess with the water coming out of every nook and crannies. And no, it's not the canisters because I used Aarke original canisters and others.
This machine is great. It’s easy to use and attractive on the countertop. The whole family loves it and we are no longer buying any canned sparkling waters! Big plus is that the carbonation creates tiny bubbles - unlike carbonated canned drinks, the bubbles don’t make me burp incessantly!
We love this appliance. It looks so much nicer than a plastic sodastream. The footprint is small, and it fits nicely on the counter under our upper cabinets. The water is extra fizzy and no electricity is needed. It is a little loud, but my kids think the sound is really funny.
We've had this working in our home for a bit under 2 months now and are still quite impressed. We love that it is mostly metal, super simple to use, has a very small footprint, is actually attractive on your countertop or in your bar, and doesn't need to be plugged in. We actually tried to tally just how many uses we were able to get out of the first cartridge we purchased and we believe we actually got more than 120 cans out of it - based on only 2 pulls per bottle (we don't feel the need for a third pull and honestly never tried only one lol) That's not an exact science by any means, and that cartridge may have just been a winning fluke - we'll see as we are tallying our 2nd cartridge now... but knowing that we are getting 120 can out of a $15 refillable cartridge ... MoreWe've had this working in our home for a bit under 2 months now and are still quite impressed. And we are no longer contributing to the recycling issues or adding to landfills because we are able to reduce our usage of aluminum with this little marvel!I just truly hope that it lasts for a very long time, can't see why it wouldn't, unless something with the pull lever itself fails... but only time will tell. I feel quite good in telling everyone to go ahead and purchase this if you like reducing your footprint while loving as much carbonated water as you can handle!
The carbonator works well. I would have liked to get the one that you dont have to twist in but it wasnt available at the time. I also think the premium paid for that feature is a bit high to replace my current one as it is still functioning as expected. My issue is with the bottles. The fill line is rubbing away. This is a pretty important line. Its a pain if you have to guess how high till fill it because you keep having to make adjustments after each time you screw the bottle in to the carbonator. Also there is some discoloration forming on the inside of my cap. It looks to be between the outer plastic and some sort of coating. Its a brownish color. I'm not sure if it is rust but it shouldnt be there on a bottle at this price point. I have a feel that the coating ... MoreThe carbonator works well. I have a feel that the coating it meant to make screwing it in smoother and it just didnt adhere to the cap very well so something is able to get in between. Maybe its bacteria as rust shouldnt be an issue here.
