I was introduced to this particular style WERA keys years ago and have been using them ever since. I work with extrusion dies and these hex keys dont round out the bolts like traditional hex keys because of their unique Hex-Plus shape.
High grade stainless steel hex key with Wera's patented Hex-Plus profile. This enables 20% more torque to be applied without damaging and rounding out the socket screw. Often with a damaged screwhead these hex keys will undo the screw where others fail. Made from round bar with machined ends for a precision fit and extra strength. The use of stainless tools with stainless steel fasteners prevents the cross contamination of metal, preventing rust from a galvanic process. Vacuum ice-hardened for industrial strength. Ball-end tip on long arm gives better access to restricted areas.
