7artisans 35mm f/1.2 to f/16 II Lens For Fuji(X Mount)
Blending a sleek form factor with a bright optical design, the black, FUJIFILM X-mount 35mm f/1.2 Lens from 7artisans is a versatile prime well-suited for everyday, available light photography. Its slim and lightweight design mixes well with the fast f/1.2 maximum aperture to suit working in low-light conditions, and also offers increased control over depth of field for working with selective focus techniques. The optical design is also complemented by a multi-layer coating, which serves to minimize surface reflections, flare, and ghosting in order to produce greater contrast and color accuracy in various lighting conditions. Additionally, the lens has a manual focus design that permits working with subjects as close as 1.1' away and its rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality. Compact portrait-length prime is designed for APS-C-format FUJIFILM X-mount mirrorless cameras and offers a 52.5mm equivalent focal length. Exceptionally fast f/1.2 maximum aperture benefits working with shallow depth of field and selective focus techniques, and also suits photographing in low-light conditions. Multi-layer coating has been applied to individual elements and reduces flare and ghosting in order to produce greater contrast and color accuracy when working in strong lighting conditions. Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality. Manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 1.1'. Depth of field and distance scales aid pre-focusing and zone focusing techniques.

I enjoy shooting with this lens on my Fuji xPro 3. It's taken some time to learn how best to manually focus, but it's slowed my photography and I've had fun with it. Optically it's quite sharp in the middle, when you nail focus, especially when stopped down. Basically it shoots and feels like an adapted vintage lens, but it's compact like those lens originally were, not with the large adapters needed to make them work.I would buy again.

Of Course manual lens but One of the most compact. It is interesting for its low price, high-quality assembly interesting bokeh. Maximum relative aperture of 1: 1.2 ( Sharpness started 2.8 ;) Sonnar based formula lens. Many thanks 7Artisans...

This is my 3rd 7artisans lens & I must say as far as cost effective lenses, I love them all. I use them on a Fuji XT3 and pics are so clear and crisp. Clearer than Anything i ever got on my Sony a7r w/Zeiss lens.
I bought it to use in my XPro2, the size and weight are perfect for it, just a little smaller than the Fujinon 23mm f2All metallic, good finishes. The diaphragm ring has clicks, they are smooth but firm, the focus ring has a comfortable roundThe few photos I shot show good quality, at large apertures you can see some loss of sharpness in the corners, but it is not exaggerated.Considering its price, it is an excellent alternative in this type of lens
This does not work with the Black Magic Pocket 4K. The focus does not throw past about 30 feet.
Placed on a Fujifilm X-S10 it did pretty well in low light and walk around photography. IQ is pretty good and the large aperture gives good subject separation. Some barrel distortion and the image gets soft with the lens wide open but for people and some subjects this isn't really a big deal.
the lens seems to be a good addition, i have to use it a little more often to get used to it. i would recommend this lens as an addition to your arsenal. i am also a starting photographer and having this lens has made me aware of differentiating focusing and light use.
I bought this lens as a compact option for traveling this summer. I purchased it from the store in New York. I've got to say I'm not very satisfied with this lens. I was hoping that it would make a usable image wide open, but I really haven't had much luck getting any sharpness at its wide aperture. Shooting on my X-T4, I wish I had opted for a Fujifilm prime. Maybe I got a bad example? I do appreciate the compact size, and the nostalgia of manual focus.
I got this for my x-e4 - after selling my fuji 35 f/2 I missed that focal length. So when I read some reviews & saw some YouTube videos I was interested in trying this one out. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality.I found the trick with manual with fuji is to shoot in b&w and use red or yellow highlight for focused edges. Works like a charm!
